Project "Think Green, Act Local"

Small-scale partnerships in youth project 2023-1-HR01-KA210-YOU-000156901 called „Think Green, Act Local“ has been approved to Ecological association "Krka" Knin by Agency for Mobility and EU programs, and co-financed by the European Union within the program Erasmus+. Ecological association "Krka" Knin is project coordinator. Duration of the implementation of the project is 18 months and allocated amount of money is 60.000,00 €.

Project shall be implemented in the partnership with the organization Noi@Europe from Naples, Italy, with the aim of strengthening of the capacities of the organizations in the areas dealing with the youth (with fewer opportunities), sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, protection of the environment and nature using informal, innovative and experiential methods as well as with interdisciplinary approach.

Our Goal

Aims and target grups

We are aiming to increase sensibility of the wider public about the importance of the protection of the environment and nature, of sustainable development, the ways to decrease production of the waste by reusing and recycling; we shall increase the initiative of the youth emphasizing the young ones with economic, social, cultural and geographical obstacles in the local communities and the visibility of the organizations dealing with the youth in thematic areas in order to motivate and encourage the others to use informal methods and tools in their work with the youth.

Specific aims of the project:

Contribute to the awareness of the youth of socially important topics and strengthen their position in the society
Contribute to the networking of the youth and provide those with fewer opportunities with the equal options and from rural areas
Strengthen the capacities of the youth and encourage them to active participation in the community development where they act, through education, exchange of the knowledge and skills
Improve the work with youth at rural areas by strengthening capacities of partner organizations dealing with the youth, social entrepreneurship, sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, protection of the environment and nature

Target groups of the project:

Youth (with fewer opportunities) emphasizing the young ones with economical, social, cultural and geographical obstacles, at the age from 15 to 30 years, from rural areas of Šibenik-Knin County and the town of Naples
Employees, members and volunteers of the partners organizations, who will be directly included in the project activities, for strengthening their capacities for the work with the youth (with fewer opportunities), sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, protection of the environment and nature
Organizations and the institutions dealing with the youth on topics of sustainable development, protection of the environment and nature and social entrepreneurship, as well as those who are working with the youth from Šibenik-Knin County, town of Naples, Croatia, Italy and the other EU and international countries
