Our Goal

Project "Think Green, Act Local"

Project results:

Increased knowledge of the staff and capacity of the partner organizations in the field of work with the youth, social entrepreneur, sustainable development and protection of the environment and nature
4 persons from partner organization have developed knowledge and skills, adopted informal methods and approach in thematic matters trough mentors’ activities
Creation of manual "Green and Youth, learning tools"
Creation of online platform "Learn, Exchange, Act and Apply"
150 young people actively included in local activities for the youth in Croatia and Italy
Youth club established in Lukar with the aim of inclusion of the youth with fewer opportunities into social life of the rural areas of Šibenik-Knin County
Video about project, implemented activities and results achieved created
3 little houses for the books made and placed with the aim to reuse the items in the local community
Increased public awareness about the importance of the work with youth with les opportunities
Quality of the work and practice in the field of the work with youth is increased by quality of the organization, specifically in sustainable development, social entrepreneurship and protection of the environment and nature

This way we contribute to inclusion and diversity as we promote equal opportunities for youth with less opportunities to active inclusion into social life of rural communities in Croatia and Italy. We guarantee capacities of the youth in the social life of the local community by removing the obstacles they face and well as to contribute to achievement of the EU Strategy for the Youth. Development of the online platform “Learn, Exchange, Act and Apply” and the manual “Green and Youth, learning tools” shall encourage informal learning, increase the quality of the work in thematic fields. By their implementation trough the work we shall contribute to innovative and sustainable development. Using digital tools, green and sustainable practices during the implementation of the project and project activities digital and green skills are improved.
